Somalia Partnership Forum stresses job creation and poverty reduction

Somalia partnership forum along with members of the Somali Government discuss the humanitarian and development challenges facing the country

 

Somalia’s future economic prosperity depends on greater investment in business development, infrastructure rehabilitation, and improved living conditions. Members of the international community, the Somali Government, and the United Nations attended the Somalia Partnership Forum to discuss the humanitarian and development challenges facing the country. Poverty, marginalization, armed violence, insecurity, political instability, and natural disasters threaten  sustainable development in Somalia. They are looking to focus on creating jobs and poverty reduction.
